Wide-Grip Bench Press

Unrack the bar and position it over chest. Lower bar to chest with control, keeping elbows flared. Press bar back up to starting position, maintaining wide grip.

Preparation: Lie flat on bench with eyes under the bar. Grip bar wider than normal bench press, hands near the ring marks. Retract shoulder blades and maintain arch. Plant feet firmly.
